Our charity plant nursery, which raises money to pay for front-line team members fighting to free children and young people in South Africa from the horror of abuse and neglect, is slashing the price of all its high-quality hardy perennials at its plant sale on Saturday.

Garden experts tell is that there is no better time to plant hardy, herbaceous perennials in English gardens than September and October. The soil is warm and now receiving long-overdue rain, and the frosts are still weeks away. That means that the plants from the nursery, which have been lovingly nurtured to have strong, resilient roots (its in the name!!), can become established in your borders and flower beds before they hibernate over winter before emerging next spring to give glorious colour and fragrance year after year! Come and pick up a bargain at our late-summer plant sale on Saturday. You can also buy fabulous autumn wreaths and lots more. And The Branch Café will also be open.
